- Permissions: We request access to your Camera (for photos/video calls), Microphone (for voice messages/calls), Storage (for media files), Contacts (to find friends), and Location (for sharing).
3. How We Use Your Information

- Core Service Provision: To facilitate real-time translation between users. Your messages are sent to our servers and third-party AI providers (specifically DeepSeek) solely for the purpose of translating text from one language to another.
- Account Management: To register and maintain your user account.
- Communication: To enable chat functionality, including voice and video calls (via WebRTC).
- Security: To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activities.
4. Third-Party Services
Our App integrates with third-party services to function. These services have their own Privacy Policies.
4.1 DeepSeek API
- Purpose: To perform the core AI translation and text processing.
- Data Shared: Text content of messages, uploaded documents/images for translation.

- Purpose: To establish peer-to-peer connections for voice and video calls.
- Note: During calls, audio/video streams are transmitted directly between devices or via TURN servers to ensure connectivity. We do not record these streams.
- Provider: Google LLC.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Location: Your data is stored on secure servers located in Mainland China (Alibaba Cloud).
- Retention: We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the App and for legitimate business purposes. Chat logs are retained until you delete them or close your account.
- Security Measures: We implement industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS encryption for data transmission and secure storage protocols.
6. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA Inspired)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your Personal Data:
- Access: You can view your profile and chat history within the App.
- Rectification: You can edit your nickname, avatar, and profile details in the "Me" section.
